Die vielseitige barocke Tripelharfe ist wahrlich eine »Wondrous Machine«, die in Margret Köll eine innovative Wiederentdeckerin und Botschafterin gefunden hat. Ihre jüngste CD widmet sich der Wandlungsfähigkeit der Tripelharfe und stellt dabei Händel ins Zentrum des Programms: Sein Harfenkonzert wird hier in der äußerst selten zu hörenden Version von 1736 für Harfe und Lyrichord präsentiert – letzteres, ein gestrichenes Tasteninstrument, basierend auf Skizzen von Leonardo da Vinci. Abgerundet wird das Programm u. a. durch schottische Tunes des Komponisten James Oswald.
