Allmänna Sangen - Femina Moderna
The SACD uses a higher digital resolution than the audio CD and also offers the possibility to store multi-channel sound (surround sound). To enjoy the music in high-end quality, a special SACD player is required. Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Wie der Name schon vermuten lässt, begann Allmänna Sången als reiner Männerchor, und zwar an der Universität von Uppsala im Jahre 1830. Seitdem hat der Chor sowohl seine Besetzung wie auch sein Repertoire erheblich erweitert und überrascht sein Publikum oft mit seinem unkonventionellen Vortrag populärer Werke und mit Kooperationen über verschiedene Genres hinweg. Hier präsentiert der Chor nun ein Programm mit Musik von Komponistinnen (nicht nur) aus Schweden; nicht weniger als 13 der 18 Werke wurden erst nach 2000 geschrieben.
