Zwei Klassiker des zwanzigsten Jahrhunderts von Schostakowitsch, neu auf Vinyl erhältlich. Nr. 1 ist seit langem eines der Lieblingsstücke von Marc-André Hamelin, und für diese besondere Aufnahme hat er sich mit Andrew Litton zusammengetan, einem Dirigenten, der diese Werke in- und auswendig kennt. Die daraus resultierenden Aufführungen haben eine Vitalität und ein Flair, das sie unserer Meinung nach zu den größten zählen lässt.
