Der berühmte Choir of St John’s College Cambridge beginnt hier unter Andrew Nethsingha eine Aufnahmeserie auf SIGNUM CLASSICS. Den Anfang machen Werke für Chor und Orgel des bekannten britischen Komponisten Jonathan Harvey (1939-2012), welche die enge Verbindung zwischen dem Komponisten und dem College dokumentieren. Harveys Musik hat eine ganze Generation von englischen Komponisten beeinflusst und wurde von der Zeitung The Guardian als gleichzeitig ausgesprochen zeitgenössisch wie zeitlos bezeichnet. Die CD enthält auch sein letztes Chorwerk The Annunciation (2011), das eigens für den Choir of St John‘s entstand.
