Torbjørn Dyrud: The Passion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ "Out of Darkness" (Blu-ray Audio & SACD)
Die Blu-ray Audio Disc (auch Pure Audio Blu-ray) ist technisch gesehen eine ganz normale Blu-ray Disc und lässt sich auf jedem Blu-ray-Player abspielen. Allerdings enthält sie keinen Videoinhalt. Die hohe Speicherkapazität wird für hochauflösende Audiodaten (Stereo und Surround, bis 24 bit/192 kHz) genutzt. Bedient wird sie entweder ohne Bildschirm wie eine herkömmliche CD oder über das Onscreen-Menü wie eine normale Blu-ray Disc.
SACD (Super Audio CD)Die SACD verwendet eine höhere digitale Auflösung als die Audio-CD und bietet außerdem die Möglichkeit, Mehrkanalton (Raumklang) zu speichern. Um die Musik in High-End-Qualität genießen zu können, wird ein spezieller SACD-Player benötigt. Dank Hybrid-Funktion sind die meisten in unserem Shop mit "SACD" gekennzeichneten Produkte auch auf herkömmlichen CD-Playern abspielbar. Dann allerdings unterscheidet sich der Sound nicht von einer normalen CD. Bei Abweichungen weisen wir gesondert darauf hin (Non-Hybrid).
