• Gently dismantle the term "high-functioning" without dismantling your sanity.
• Validate the sensory chaos of scratchy tags, wrong socks, and food that is the wrong shade of beige.
• Make you feel significantly less alone at 2 am when Googling, "Is this normal?"

Written from lived experience - as an autistic parent raising an autistic child - this isn't a textbook, and it's definitely not a patronising "10 Easy Steps" guide. It's real life. It's funny because sometimes if you don't laugh, you'll cry (and you've already done enough of that in the car park).
