Sahtinay Abaza: The Cats of Dogville, Gebunden

Klappentext

It's cats vs. dogs in this hilarious picture book about Dogville's second-tier felines and their scheme to become the town's favorite animal.

It's a feud as old as time: the ongoing squabble between cats and dogs over which species holds dominion of the human heart. Here is the story of just one skirmish. In the city of Dogville, it's obvious that dogs are everyone's favorite pet (it's in the name). Dogs are friendly. They cuddle and they play. They love to go on walks with their humans anytime and anywhere. Dogs are even helpful; some have responsible jobs. But after a secret meeting, the Dogville cats decide it's their time to take over as the favorite pet companion. A devious plan is put into place. But what happens when the felines succeed in pushing the canines aside? Will these cats discover it's not much fun being "top dog"?

This feline fable is for anyone who has ever owned a cat and recognizes the sense of superiority that is part of their kitty DNA. And that is why we love them.
