This book is the first English book to present the theory of flux modulation and name the flux modulation machine family. It explains the phenomenon of flux modulation in electrical machines based on the well-known "modulation" in power electronics; clarifies the difference and connection between different flux modulation machines through the topological evolution, comparatively analyzes their commonality and individuality characteristics under the same theoretical framework; and finally proposes the R&D ideas and development frontiers of high-performance machine topologies. The flux modulation theory is the main feature of this book, which is the expansion of the classical machine theory, providing readers in the field of electrical machines with a new vision and more design options.
Biography (Dawei Li)
Li Dawei, geb. 1963 in Peking. Mit einem Abschluss der Pädagogischen Hochschule in Peking in Amerikanischer Literatur 1985, erscheinen noch im gleichen Jahr unter seinem Pseudonym Weiwei erste Gedichte von ihm. Zwei Jahre später wird ihm im Rahmen eines Stipendiums erstmals eine Reise in die Vereinigten Staaten ermöglicht, um sich auf internationaler Ebene mit weiteren Schriftstellern seiner Generation auszutauschen. Von 1989 an, beschäftigt er sich beruflich mit Kunst- und Literaturtheorie. Im Jahre 1996 veröffentlicht er mit 'Der Traumsammler 'auch ein erstes Romanwerk. Zur Zeit lebt er in den Vereinigten Staaten in Los Angeles und arbeitet als freier Autor u.a. für mehrere chinesischsprachige Zeitschriften und Zeitungen, darunter 'Jintian' (Today), 'Caijing' und das in Deutschland herausgegebene 'Ouline Magazin'.
