It teaches quilters of all levels how to spice up an existing pattern or design one completely on their own. They'll learn how to choose the fabric that bests suit their design; which blocks to twist and turn for different looks; how to offset and build upon a single block; how to choose fabrics and blocks for an ombre effect; how to merge blocks into a border; and even how to determine how much fabric a particular design requires. While EQ does provide a yardage list, depending on how the blocks are cut and assembled, it's not always accurate.
