Klappentext
Looked at through the lens of the Inkan cosmology, Mother Earth is trying to wake us up and restore equilibrium between the two polarities that exist within all of us, regardless of gender or sexual identification. Healing personally and collectively the energetic imbalances between these two forces has never been more vital than at this critical crossroads in human history.
This book is my response to a call from Spirit. To answer, I had to surrender to the sacred and share my personal journey from professional musician to stage IV cancer survivor to practicing shaman, because the implications of my arc reflect the larger challenges we are facing today as a human family. I hope through the revelation of my personal story, you will feel supported and inspired in your own evolution.
The title Shamergence is a fusion of the two major wellsprings of this work: shamanism and the feminine principle of emergence. Shamanism offers a roadmap home to our healed state. Emergence refers to raising the divine feminine energy back into balance with the sacred masculine, beginning with each individual. Only then will our collective compass emerge to point the way.
Ultimately, this is not a scholarly work on Inkan shamanism, and my words are not intended as dogma or spiritual absolutes. Instead, I offer a collection of insights from a lifetime of pursuing various wisdom traditions, lived experiences, and direct spiritual downloads. I encourage the reader to take what is beneficial and leave the rest. In Zen, there is a saying, "Don't be distracted by the finger pointing to the moon." Try to look past the messenger's imperfections and embrace the message to join me on the journey to return to balance. I did, and it saved my life.
