Mary Wollstonecraft (1759-1797); zunächst Schulleiterin und Gouvernante, dann Lektorin und Schriftstellerin; verheiratet mit dem englischen Schriftsteller William Godwin. Die gleichnamige Tochter ist die spätere Mary Shelley.
