ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Marcia Maizel-Clarke is an author, speaker, and the founder, owner, and creative force behind Dogeared Jewelry. More than Millions: Finding the Gold Within is the first in a series of books to come.

Like Marcia herself, Dogeared as a company leads with gratitude and lives by the philosophy that what goes around comes around, bringing this to life with practices that prioritize the dignity and empowerment of people everywhere. Since its inception in 1991, Dogeared has created a legacy of giving, including becoming a certified B corporation in 2011, making it one of the first jewelry companies to do so.

In the Los Angeles area, which is homebase, Marcia and her husband Merlin support the nonprofit Do Good Bus, a community service and team-building experience that takes groups on day-long outings to give back to the community. Their newest social enterprise is the Healing Bus, which provides underserved communities with access to a wide variety of healing modalities, advocating for a world where everyone can get the support, care, and understanding they deserve. For years, Marcia has also been on the board of the local Santa Monica nonprofit called One Voice. One Voice has many programs helping underserved communities.

In addition to leading Dogeared Jewelry, Marcia is also a happy wife, mom, daughter, friend of many, and great lover of life. She lives with Merlin in Malibu, California.
