'Murder Law and Nazi Legal Legacy: An Examination of the Murder Criteria in German Case Law (§ 211 German Criminal Code)': This study examines the case law on the murder provision (§ 211 StGB/German Criminal Code), introduced in 1941 and mainly unchanged to this day. It presents the origin and development of § 211 StGB and analyzes all Federal German rulings. The study shows that judicial decisions after 1945 and partly to this day remain influenced by Nazi ideology-characterized by linking law and morality and vague interpretations aimed at upholding material justice-through the application of the murder criteria.
