Jonathan Roth studierte Kulturanthropologie/Volkskunde und Vor- und Frühgeschichte an der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz. Seit seinem Studienabschluss im Jahr 2011 ist er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Institut für Film-, Theater- und empirische Kulturwissenschaft tätig und befasst sich im Rahmen seines Promotionsprojektes mit Fragen der Politischen Anthropologie.
