Cologne is one of the oldest centres of Jewish life in Europe. This city tour takes you on an impressive journey through centuries of Jewish history - from the Middle Ages to the present day. 'Discover - Jewish Life in Cologne' invites you to rediscover well-known places and make hidden testimonies visible: synagogues, stumbling blocks, memorials, places of residence, everyday places and places of remembrance. The tour offers in-depth historical background, personal stories and many references to today's Jewish culture in Cologne. A compact, vividly narrated companion - for all those who want to experience and understand Cologne with keen eyes. A city guide against forgetting - and in favour of a diverse culture of remembrance.
