Biography (John Matthews)
John Matthews war 29, als sich sein Debütroman ("Basinkasingo") 1982 zum Bestseller entwickelte. Er arbeitete weiterhin als Journalist und schrieb unter anderem für den Independent und die Sunday Times. Mittlerweile ist er als Berater und Juniorchef für zwei politische Magazine tätig und teilt seine Zeit zwischen dieser Aufgabe und seiner Arbeit als Schriftsteller. Bei Goldmann ist bereits der Roman "Das vergessene Kind" erschienen. John Matthews lebt mit seiner Frau und seinem Sohn in Surrey / England.
