Biografie (Ian Whybrow)
Ian Whybrow wurde 1961 geboren und arbeitete zunächst als Lehrer, bevor er 1989 mit dem Schreiben begann. Heute ist er ein bekannter englischer Kinderbuchautor, der bisher über 100 Bilderbücher, Erzählungen, Kurzgeschichten und Gedichte veröffentlichte, die in 27 Sprachen übersetzt wurden. Seine Bücher zeichnen sich durch feinen britischen Humor und viel Wortwitz aus. Ian Whybrow lebt in Harrow, er ist verheiratet und hat zwei Töchter.Biografie (Axel Scheffler)
Axel Scheffler, geboren 1957 in Hamburg, Grafikstudium an der Bath Acadamy of Art in England, lebt als Illustrator mit seiner Familie in London. Er veröffentlichte zahlreiche Buchillustrationen, hauptsächlich für Kinder, zeichnet aber auch für Zeitungen und Zeitschriften und gehört heute zu den national und international bedeutendstem Kinderbuchillustratoren.
