Gavin Francis, 1975 in Fife in Schottland geboren, ist praktizierender Arzt und zugleich Weltreisender und Reiseschriftsteller. Nach seiner Approbation arbeitete er in Afrika und Indien und erkundete auf ausgedehnten Reisen alle Kontinente.
