Fyodor Dostoevsky: Notes from Underground, Gebunden

Klappentext

A must read for fans of Kafka and Dazai

"I am a sick man. I am an angry man."

An unnamed man turns his back on the world and condemns it. Scathing in his attacks on society and its cult of progress, merciless in his self-examination. The result is a haunting portrait of a profoundly embittered individual whose withdrawal from life is embodied by the gloomy retreat he has chosen for himself. Dostoevsky's brilliantly composed novella is, in Nietzsche's words, "a true stroke of psychological genius", and a pioneering work of early modern literature.
