Klappentext
This book is a comparative and comprehensive guide to sports and eSports in European law, with international and interdisciplinary perspectives included.
With contributions from academics and practitioners alike, including several in-house lawyers employed by football clubs, the book tackles the increasingly intertwined area of sports and eSports law. Chapters will explore the commonalities of sports and eSports, such as general contract or intellectual property principles, followed by an individual assessment of the differences, for instance, collective licensing in sports versus publishers as sole licensors. Other topics include dispute resolution, labour law, platform regulation and competition law, making this a comprehensive guide to the area.
The book will be of interest to researchers and practitioners in the field of sports and eSports law, labour law, competition law, contract law and entertainment law.
