EJ, Kendall's mother, manages her DJ career and is a published author author in her own right. Together, this mother-daughter duo are proud Philadelphians who created The Adventures of DJ Ken Roc & The Magical Turntables series to celebrate Philadelphia pride, uplift their community, and inspire young people to believe in themselves, live out their dreams out loud, and never give up.
