Biografie
Colum McCann wurde 1965 in Dublin geboren. Er arbeitete als Journalist, Farmarbeiter und Lehrer und unternahm lange Reisen durch Asien, Europa und Amerika. für seine Erzählungen erhielt McCann, der heute in New York lebt, zahlreiche Literaturpreise, unter anderem den Hennessy Award for Irish Literature sowie den Rooney Prize.
