Biografie
Die vier CLAMP-Künstlerinnen stammen aus der Kansai-Region Japans (aus der Nähe von Osaka und Kyoto) und sind längst auch international an die Spitze der japanischen Zeichnerszene gerückt. Ihre Manga zeichnen sich durch grafische Eleganz und einen ungeheuren Detailreichtum aus, der immer wieder durch karikaturistische Elemente gebrochen wird. Sind die Zeichnungen zumeist in schönstem Shojo-Manga-Stil (Mädchen-Manga) gehalten, überzeugen die Stories durch den ungewohnten Mix aus actiongeladenen, mythologischen und romantischen Elementen, wie sie sowohl in Shojo- als auch Shonen- (Shonen- = Jungs-) Manga verwendet werden.
