My Nature Notebookhelps children aged 7-12 discover the simple joys of being outside and invites children to connect with nature through their senses.

The sketchbook format offers carefully crafted 'invitations'. These are gentle prompts which guide children to connect with nature using creativity and personal expression. Through engagement with these invitations, children will deepen their connection with nature and themselves, and appreciate that nature can be noticed, even in unexpected places. Most pages are designed to be taken outside and completed in situ, although some can be completed inside too. As children move through their notebook, they will build a repertoire of evidenced-based self-regulation strategies, reflect on how their body and mind respond to being in nature, and create a deep sense of reciprocity with the natural world.
