The new edition reflects the increasing ways in which red notices can be challenged and provides assistance to practitioners in relation to INTERPOL's substantive and procedural approach to such challenges.

INTERPOL has also recently begun to publish data on its processing of red notices which permits a much greater analysis of how INTERPOL manages Red Notices and diffusions. Accordingly, diffusions are covered in greater detail in the second edition. There is also expansion of the chapters that focus on INTERPOL litigation (utilising the much increased publication of INTERPOL decisions).
