Biografie
Anne Fadiman stammt als Tochter des Schriftstellers und Gründers des berühmten Book Of The Month Club, Clifton Fadiman, selbst aus einer bibliophilen Familie. Für ihr Sachbuch The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down wurde Anne Fadiman 1997 mit dem National book Critics Circle Award ausgezeichnet. Anne Fadiman ist Herausgeberin der Zeitschrift The American Scholar und publiziert u.a. in The New Yorker, Harpers Bazaar, Life und New York Times. Sie lebt mit ihrer Familie in Massachusetts.
