I believe passion is what defines a poet. If they succeed in evoking passion in the reader, the poetry becomes meaningful and authentic to them. In my view, there is a sixth sense within the reader that perceives the thoughts and feelings the writer has woven into their poetry. Essentially, the poet creates an art form that the reader can instinctively share, blending the poem's creativity with its passionate intensity.

My motivation for writing poems has always been to express what resides deeply in my soul. Poetry is a necessity, a cathartic release. My poems are spiritual butterflies of gratitude flying out from my subconscious into the world as gifts. Each poem soars with different levels of passion through the expression of emotion. It is all a part of me. I hope you enjoy it.
