In Saint-Avold, Frankreich, geboren, studierte Joelle Dreidemy drei Jahre lang Zeichentrickgestaltung, Bildhauerei und Zeichnen. 2004 diplomierte sie an der berühmten Emile Cohl Schule in Lyon und hat seitdem zahlreiche Kinderbücher illustriert. Wenn sie nicht gerade zeichnet, treibt Joelle am liebsten Sport oder musiziert auf Klavier und Gitarre.
