Were the Tudors hot?

Scandalous love affairs, delusional kings, brutal power struggles. Was Tudor egomania classic male overcompensation, or did these prancing peacocks genuinely have something to prance about?

Behold this collection of truly ravishing Tudor gents , resplendent in their thigh-hugging breeches and outrageous codpieces , commanding in their power poses and irresistible with their disarming gazes . Each enchanting entry includes a dreamy portrait , a fascinating potted biography and a hilarious dating profile . From bourgeois babes to ruttable royals to arousing aristos, there's a sultry Tudor for every taste, including:

-Our cover star's identity has been lost to time and although historians may say his Tudor credentials are dubious (he's actually Italian!), his hotness is undeniable .
-Don't be fooled by Sir Anthony Mildmay's striking tights, he's actually a very serious MP and ambassador to France, and looks rather dashing in half his armour .
-If you're more into the artistic types, why not cast your eyes over poet, scholar and courtier Sir Philip Sidney (he also comes with a tragic war hero backstory ).
-For those of you who favour a pretty boy , look no further than the luscious curls and even more luscious ruffof John Croker of Barton, though his portrait may be miniature, the rest of him certainly isn't.

From the author of Hot Victorians , this book digs even further back in time to celebrate even older but maybe even hotter babes from the history books. Across royalty, statesmen, artists, diplomats and noblemen, this book proves that what the Tudors lacked in subtlety, they made up for in sheer exuberance.

Warning: Hot Tudors may result in break-ups, divorce and dating peril as you realise your dream man died a very long time ago.
