Mit Slapstick, Glückspiel- und Kannibalismuselementen entsteht eine skurrile Comedy-Version, die die in Jamaika geborene englische Komponistin Eleanor Alberga meisterlich in Musik umgesetzt hat. Erzähler sind die Schauspieler Danny Devito, Joanna Lumley und Griff Rhys Jones.
