Biografie (Pierre Bost)
Pierre Bost, 1901 in Lasalle geboren, wuchs in Le Havre auf und kam kurz nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg nach Paris. Zwischen 1924 und 1945 veröffentlichte er mehr als ein Dutzend Romane, Erzählbände und Essays. Er gehörte zu den bedeutendsten Literaten und Journalisten der Zwischenkriegszeit. 1945 verabschiedete er sich aus der Literatur, um fortan als Drehbuchschreiber zu arbeiten. Pierre Bost starb 1975 in Paris.
