Biografie
Darren Shan ist das Pseudonym des Schriftstellers Darren O'Shaughnessy, geb. 1972 in London. 1978 zog seine Familie nach Limerick in Irland. Darren Shan studierte Soziologie und Englisch und arbeitete danach einige Jahre für eine Fernsehfirma, bevor er sich ganz dem Schreiben widmete. Wenn Darren Shan nicht an neuen Büchern arbeitet, genießt er seine umfassende Filmsammlung, lange Spaziergänge, Fußball und Reisen.
