Biografie

Carlos Castaneda, in Peru geboren und nach Nordamerika ausgewandert, arbeitete als Journalist, bevor er 1960 in Arizona seinen späteren Lehrer, Don Juan Matus, kennen lernte. Er befasste sich anschließend in Los Angeles mit Anthropologie und Ethnologie und erhielt für seine Bücher zahlreiche akademische Auszeichnungen.
