The Georgia Syndrome, as I imagined it and described it, was a conglomeration of imperial and mindless actions by the Georgian president, inspired and incited by the American leadership and a few European countries. The revelations on WikiLeaks merely served to confirm my view in this regard. As you can see from these reports, the Georgian leadership was well aware that it had unleashed a real act of aggression towards South Ossetia. More than three years have passed. Slowly but surely the Georgia syndrome is regenerating.
