Seit 1987 haben The Goo Goo Dolls eine Reihe von Studioalben veröffentlicht, darunter ihr über 7 Millionen Mal verkauftes Album Dizzy Up The Girl (1998).
Nach 13 Studiolaben veröffentlichen die Goo Goo Dolls eine karriereübergreifende "Rarities"-LP, die aus unveröffentlichten Perlen, Live Versionen, Remixen und mehr besteht. Die neue Kollektion der 1985 gegründeten New Yorker Rockgruppe enthält 20 Songs, die zwischen 1995 und 2007 veröffentlicht wurden.
Das Album enthält unter anderem Live-Versionen von "Let Love In" und "Listen", aufgenommen in den legendären Capitol Studios in Hollywood, sowie akustische Aufnahmen von "Iris", "Slide" und "Name".
